China to Boost Exports of Machinery and Electronic Products(2007-1-18)

Striving to improve the structure of its export product portfolio, China is to give a boost to the export of machinery, electronic products and advanced technology, according to Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce of PR China.
Speaking at the country's national working conference on commerce, Mr Bo said China would offer various economic and financial incentives, including loan-interest subsidies, R&D subsidies, loans on favorable terms, and export finance.
Emphasis would be placed on the exports of such heavy industrial products as aircrafts, automobiles and parts, ships and ship-use equipment, railway locomotives, CNC machine tools, and construction machinery, he added.
